Activist - Kekoa Kau
What’s your hometown?
What’s your understanding of noRep?
A great local company, that supports local people with a great mission!
What are your goal/dreams?
My goal as a paddler, is to compete in the Moloka'i to O'ahu championship race in June. And I'm on the track to accomplish it. Dreams is to travel the world and compete in races in their respective waters!!
What does Activism mean to you?
To live the life that you say you represent. And do it to the best of your abilities.
Have you got any hidden gems? Any photo your are most proud of?
For sure this gem, winning the Buffalo Big Board Classic has to be one of the more proud moments.
How old are you?
What's that one thing that inspires you?
My daughter is my biggest inspiration, to be the best person/athlete possible.
What pays the bills?
I currently build OC1 outrigger canoes for Kamanu Composites in Kailua HI
Aspirational question - how would you make this a better place?
If I had a chance to make this place better, for me it would to help mom and pop stores and local companies thrive more. I feel Us locals need to support each other as much as possible. Because on the path we're going. Hawaii will be soon like the mainland. Concrete no culture.
If you could surf anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Bali is definitely on the list! But Tahiti would top the cake. And considering I may make a visit sooner or later to compete in paddling. I'm hoping to cross it off the bucket list!!
How do you see yourself in 10 years?
Hopefully with a good paying job, being a great father, and enjoying life with no regret
What's the 1st thought when you wake up in the morning - Today I Shoot, Surf or ???
"Is there wind?" So I can surf some open ocean bumps on my canoe.
